At Charleston Veterinary Urgent Care, we get a ton of interesting questions from pet parents. Below are some common FAQs that might help answer any questions or concerns. Please feel free to call us for any other concerns you might have about your pet.
What type of pets do you see?
Dogs and cats, but sometimes we can accommodate exceptions. Please call first to discuss.
What are your payment options?
We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express) and CareCredit. We do not offer payment plans. Payment is due at the time services are provided. We are able to provide a cost estimate for same day diagnostics and services prior to rendering them.
Do I need an appointment for my pet?
We do not schedule appointments. We see cases on a “first come, first serve” basis. You can walk in any time during business hours, or call to check in and inquire about possible wait times.

Will you notify my regular vet that my pet had an urgent care visit?
We will electronically send your pet’s regular veterinarian our medical record after your visit. We encourage you to follow up with your regular vet after any urgent care visit.
